The short version
We know nobody enjoys reading legal documents (we don't enjoy writing them either). Here's what this page means in normal language.
What we collect
Very little. Free scans need no personal info. If you buy a scan pack, we collect your email for your access key and results. We never see your credit card – that's handled by Stripe.
What our scans produce
Font names, file URLs, and metadata from publicly accessible website source code – the same information visible in any browser's developer tools.
How long we keep things
Free scan reports for 7 days, Starter and Agency for 90 days, Enterprise for 365 days. Server/Activity logs are deleted after 90 days. Access keys and licence overrides are stored for the lifetime of your account to support subsequent scans.
When we might contact you
Scan results and payment confirmations. Enterprise FontMonitor alerts when font changes are detected. We may also occasionally reach out proactively if we notice a technical issue with your account, a failed scan, or a problem with your access key – this is always to help, never to sell you anything.
